On February 25, 2023 Stephanie & Lucien got married at the romantic and historical University Club of Pasadena. The couple exchanged their vows under a beautiful floral arch, with their family and friends surrounding them. The ceremony was filled with heartfelt moments and laughter.
Tea Ceremony
The wedding weekend with a beautiful traditional Vietnamese & Chinese tea ceremony. The first part of the ceremony was held at the bride's house which can be seen in the first photo of the slideshow. The bride was dressed in a beautiful modern red ao dai, which was perfectly complimented by the bright pink ao dai worn by her bridesmaids.
Pre Ceremony
On the day of the Western wedding, the bride and bridesmaids got ready together, and to show her appreciation, the bride gave each of her bridesmaids a gift. After getting dressed the bride headed downstairs to meet her soon-to-be husband for their first look. The groom eagerly awaited his first glimpse of his soon-to-be wife, filled with anticipation and excitement. He was filled with joy when he saw his beautiful bride!
Ceremony
The bride looked gorgeous as she walked down the aisle escorted by her father, and her bridesmaids in their beautiful emerald green dresses made the perfect match. Her bridal bouquet perfectly matched the gorgeous setting. Lucien was equally handsome in a classic black tuxedo, and his boutonniere perfectly complemented Stephanie's bouquet. They lovingly exchanged their vows in view of a teary-eyed crowd of friends and family. It was a picture-perfect moment.
Reception
To help guests find their way, tables with adorable Manzanita tree centerpieces adorned with fairy lights were placed alongside candle party favors. Stephanie also decided to change into her ao dai dress during the middle of the night to mingle with guests it was a beautiful display of her Vietnamese culture. As dinner ended and the night was coming to an end the guests were treated to not only the gorgeous wedding cake, but also donuts, boba, ramen bar, and a surprise "Habit" food truck gifted to the bride and groom by their friends.
